This week I (finally) bought the
limited edition Sharpie’s 80’s Glam set of five! Now, I am a HUGE sharpie fan!
I love my sharpies! Any reason I have to buy one I do! From metallic to
tradition sharpies are my favourite!
I usually buy the classic fine
point sharpies – so that’s the size I bought for the 80’s Glam! The colours in
the 80’s Glam pack are Argyle Green, Banana Clip Yellow, Jellie Pink, Leg
Warmer Orange and Valley Girl Violet. What I’ve found so far are all great
qualities to these pens!
All the Good:
-The colours are awesome! Very
true to theme and they appear as you would expect (the lids matter the
pigment)!
- Flow is amazing! So sharpies
you really have to battle with the get a good colour out of (metallic sharpies
are a perfect example) but these, right out, are perfect!
- They cover extremely well! One
coats and your done (no white shows through), no need to ball your paper trying
to go over it will layers!
- What I am most impressed with
however is the amount of pigment in these pens! A lot of sharpies when used on
coloured paper turn into different colours – but not these! All the colours
hold quite true to the original ink on white!
All The Bad:
Okay, there’s only one bad – but
I thought it should be mentioned…
- Although this is something
you’ll find with all new sharpies is extra true with these. They are incredibly
stiff when you first begin using them. If you plan to cover a whole area right
after opening them you can forget it! You’ll have to dull the tips before
getting any significant area covered.
Love, Peace &
Purchase,
Laura
